VIRTUAL SESSION:Explore Newsela’s annotation feature, equipping science teachers with strategies to scaffold texts and foster student engagement. Educators will learn how annotations can enhance comprehension, critical thinking, and information retention while guiding students to interact with the material. Participants will create a customized assignment with annotations and instructions to apply these practices in their classrooms. NOTE: This session is being held with an online presenter. Attendees are welcome to utilize the space to engage in the session. A live moderator will be present for support.
