This interactive session will explore the powerful connection between computational thinking (CT) and science education. Participants will examine the connections between CT and the Science and Engineering Practices, as well as the durable skills of the Henrico Learner Profile, demonstrating how integrating CT skills empowers students to become critical thinkers, problem-solvers, and innovators. The session will emphasize practical, hands-on activities designed to foster "productive struggle" and provide teachers with concrete strategies for incorporating CT into their existing science curriculum, regardless of their prior coding experience.
